INTRODUCTION
 9-Step Sourcing Process lists down the preparatory, planning and, execution steps that have
historically produced favourable results in the quest for a Buyer to run sourcing projects in order
to achieve specific objectives.
 Different organizations use a variation of the 9-steps but in essence, the Sourcing Process
remains same with an exception of minor changes here and there.
 In general, you will find that the Sourcing Process and Procurement guidelines are well-
documented in mature organisations that focus on Spend Management and Efficient
Procurement
 This course shall list down the important steps and explain them in detail to bring out the
