The idea for my advert is on Batiste Dry Shampoo
Outline your idea
• I plan to produce a high quality Batiste dry
shampoo advert
• The medium I’m working in is a video.
• My intention is to persuade my target audience
to use Batiste dry shampoo.
Batiste Dry Shampoo
• Gives your hair
volume
• It’s very easy to
apply
• Comes in range of
different sizes
-suitable for travelling
Storyboard
Contingency Plan
• In my idea, the advert will be filmed indoors
so no problems will occur due to the
weather.
• But the only problem would be the location
may be very busy with too many people
which could cause noises to occur in the
background when filming.
Production Requirements
• Location: The advert will be filmed in a flat but inside a bedroom.
The location is within walking distance so no extra costs will be
added.
• The Crew: involved is a camera operator such as my self and one
actress volunteered by a friend. There will be no members of the
public involved.
• The Equipment: needed is just a camera and a tripod.
• Costumes & Props: The costumes worn in the advert will be
from my friend belongings. All the props used are my own
belongings and are stored safety at my friends house.
Timescale and budget
• The budget for my production is £1000 which
covers damage and loss towards equipment and
props.
• The time my advert will be filmed and edited will
be less than a month to ensure I have enough
shots.
Market Research
• Through my
research, I have
realized that
Batiste dry
shampoo is
widely known
making it a good
sell.
• There are less
adverts on the
market.
Target Audience
• My target audience is teenage girls and young woman
aged 15-25 years old.
• They are any race and social class, I don’t prefer a
specific type.
• My advert appeals to its target audience as it
demonstrates a girls every day situation like the
audience.
New-buyers
Target audience

• Nice fragrance
• Banishes greasy
hair
• Quick hair fix's My advert attracts new buyers as its:
• A affordable price
• Interesting design
When should it be shown?
• The actual time the advert will be shown is
after 5 o’clock where our target audience will
be most likely watching TV.
• I will make sure my advert is aired on channels
that most teenage girls and young women
watch.

• It is a combination of different Batiste dry
shampoo adverts
• The client should use my idea as the advert is made
memorable..
• My production stands out cause it represents a
girls dream and their needs
