Keto Garlic Butter Steak with Roasted Asparagus
Ingredients:
2 ribeye steaks (approximately 8 ounces each)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pound asparagus spears, woody ends trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for about 3-4 minutes on
each side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to your preferred level of
doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside to rest.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter and minced garlic. Cook for about
1-2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant and lightly golden. Remove the garlic butter from
heat and set aside.
Meanwhile, place the asparagus spears on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season
with salt and pepper. Toss to coat the asparagus evenly.
Roast the asparagus in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until tender and lightly
browned.
While the asparagus is roasting, brush the steaks with the reserved garlic butter on both sides.
Serve the steaks with the roasted asparagus on the side. You can garnish with freshly chopped
parsley or grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
