It can be wrong. That’s OK!!
 The three main aspects of risk to a story are separated out:
 Volatility
 Completeness
 Complexity
 This enables estimation with fewer un-stated assumptions
 Estimate in unit you feel comfortable with, T-Shirt Sizes or Story Points (even Doggy-Points)
 Be consistent
 Explain so the whole team understands what the unit is

Planning poker is an estimation
technique used in determining
story points for features.
• Scrummaster facilitates the sizing dialogue
• Product Owner answers questions
• Delivery Team sizes in Story Points
• step 1: pick a first story, assign size 5
• step 2: pick the next one, discuss briefly
• step 3: team members show size for story
• step 4: explore largest/smallest size
• step 5: goto 3 until team agrees on size
• step 6: goto 2 until end of backlog
