2. What is the ASEC? It’s the first and only social enterprise competition exclusively for University students in Africa. The purpose of the ASEC is to identify students with the most entrepreneurial potential and empower them to launch their business with access to financing and entrepreneurial consulting.

4. What exactly is a Social Enterprise? The main aim of a social enterprise is to further its social or environmental goals in a financially sustainable manner. This need not be incompatible with making a profit, but often incorporate a “triple bottom line” (financial, environmental and social).
