It is divided into 4 sections:

We aim to:

5 general information
The safe driving of motor vehicles, heavy trucks, cranes and various handling machines
(fork-lift trucks, etc.) is largely dependent on the driver.
It is therefore vital to check proficiency and knowledge when personnel are hired.
5 check of physical aptitude:
This involves checking binocular vision and assessing optical-motor coordination and
emotional stability by means of:
• A specialized vision test on a Vision Tester machine
• A series of specific psychometric tests that make it possible to determine the level at the
time when the test is taken, and to indicate the foreseeable evolution over the years to
come.
5 check of knowledge:
We assess the knowledge and know-how of drivers by means of:
• A questionnaire to assess driving knowledge (Highway Code; questions on actual cases
based on photos)
• A commentary driving test in a built-up area, off road or in a company (40 to 50 minutes
per candidate)
• A test of the control of the vehicle: e.g. parallel parking, reverse parking, evasive
maneuvers, braking when driving vehicles with automatic transmission
• An individual interview.
Detailed results are sent to the company with a recommendation concerning:
• The driver's proficiency and the subsequent checks to be carried out
• Additional training to be given (if any).
This additional training includes in particular:
• Basic defensive driving course
• 4x4 vehicle driving course off road
• Heavy vehicle driving course on and off road
• Priority vehicle driving course (fire engine, ambulance, breakdown vehicle)

1) A simple document prepared from the photographs of your hazard sources ( You just
need to send the pictures by email, or request us to send our HSE consultant/trainer
to take the photographs).
2) In conjunction with you, define a list of referees from among your most experienced
staff. These are the people who will be responsible for showing and explaining to new
employees what they should and should not do. At site, the personnel visits the hazard
sources shown in the brochure and receives then explanations from designated
experienced personnel.
The brochure is signed to follow the progression of the personnel. When all hazard
sources have been visited, the site manager authorizes the newcomer to work alone and
change his “green hat” to an other colour.
Our system keeps track of each of these briefings, which will prove that you have done
as much as possible to control your risks.
3) A simple basic training module lasting about 2 hours and using the concept of energy,
which we have successfully been using for the oil industry in many countries for several
years.
