- 1. PROGRESS REPORT
Student: Aden Zurita, Kendra Hopkins, Kristin Melendez
Teacher: Amanda Fields ENGL 307 Business Writing instructor
Report: September 30, 2013
It is to inform you the status of our project venture so that you are aware of our progression in creating the
quick reference guide for Wildcat Writers. So far we are up to date in terms of our interview with Rachel
Wendler, staying up to date with teammates in completing tasks, and doing what’s necessary in managing
our time in working on our project. It’s imperative that I display what tasks have been accomplished, and
what tasks lay ahead in further detail.
What has been accomplished
● prepared questions for interviewee Rachel Wendler, and posted onto D2L drop box
● researched about Wildcat Writers, Rachel Wendler and other sources in helping us prepare better
to create quick reference guide
● composed tasks schedule in keeping track of project
● composed email of inquiry to Rachel Wendler in setting an appropriate date and time for
interview
● developed a team charter to lay goals and concerns in project
What needs to be done
● commence interview with Rachel Wendler
● develop client proposal
● complete interview transcript
● complete quick reference guide for Wildcat Writers
It seems that our interview with Rachel Wendler would have to be on Friday September 4th at 3:15pm,
however I will not be able to attend due to conflicting times with my internship at the University of
Arizona Photography department being from 3 to 6pm. On a bright note, Kendra and Kristin should be
able to attend in handling the interview, and reporting critical information pertinent to the development of
the quick reference guide that shows how to give a tax credit donation to Wildcat Writers.
My team is one step closer to start composing the quick reference guide, once Kendra and Kristin have
completed the interview with Rachel Wendler. As long as we stay on track with what needs to be done,
we should have the quick reference guide ready for Wildcat Writers completed by no time.
