4. Why Youth?
ICT Innovation will enable youths who are 65% of Nigeria
population of 180 Million give their feedback and be part of
government decision. moreover this will make government
policy a -demand driven.
5. Why Technology ?
New technologies are instrumental in helping citizens
make sense of what governments do, and in offering them
real and encouraging opportunities for taking part.
In Developing countries like Nigeria, there is an
increasing need for more transparency, more participation
and more accountability; going by the recent presidential
election with 56% engagement on social media

Actors are Youths, Government, International community. The Youth
is spearheading this initiative in collaboration with the Federal
Ministry of Youth Affairs, a Governmental Organization that seek to
the affairs of the Youth. The recruitment exercise is basically through
online platform, and regular media and participation is basically
electronic. Other organisation and civic enterprises also will be
involved

MOGIDI is a multi-campaign platforms where Citizen can give input
into government proposed policy that affect them.
A web and mobile platform where citizen can also report
dilapidated infrastructures, degradation. The platform will also
connect with different government bodies responsible for
immediate alert and response. Technology will enable this
participation in a great way, because the target
audience fall into category of Youths and they
are Tech savvy
