2. Process
I decided to use Easter images because it’s a
holiday related to Christmas. I have edited these
photos using Photoshop and within Photoshop I
have used different effects to change the original
photos I selected in order to make the images
look more like the products I wish to produce.
The first image I have edited I have used a colour
fade to take the brightness away the image so
that the image would be more subtle to the eye.
the second image I have edited I have I colour
enhancer to add more colour to the image so
that the image will stand out and be more eye
catching.
The final image I have edited I have used the
colour fade slightly and a blur effect so that the
audience would pay the most attention to the
eggs. The similarities my images will have to this
photo will be that will use a similar angle taking
shots and also will use the focus lens in order to
make the thing I want to stand out.

3. Process
I decided to use Halloween images because it’s
another popular holiday celebrated. I have edited
these photos using Photoshop and within Photoshop
I have used different effects to change the original
photos I selected in order to make the images look
more like the products I wish to produce.
The first photo I have edited I have used a slight
posterize effect making the image more vivid and the
brighter colours stand out more.
The second image I have edited I have used a
brightness and contrast tool to take some of the
brightness away but to add a little more contrast
between the lighter and darker colours.
The third image I have edited I have chosen from the
1978 horror film Halloween. I decided to chose this
image from the film because I like the angle and the
lighting of the shot. When editing this photo I used
brightness and contrast in order to make the white
mask stand out and making the body appear darker.

4. Process
I have decided to use the 4th of July because it’s a holiday
celebrated all around America. I have edited these photos
using Photoshop and within Photoshop I have used
different effects to change the original photos I selected
in order to make the images look more like the products I
wish to produce for my Christmas portfolio.
The first image I have edited I have used the brightness
and contrast tool in order to make the fireworks and the
statue of liberty stand out more against the night sky. I
chose this photo because of the angle of the photograph.
The photo is zoomed in on the statue of liberty with fire
works behind with the colour red, white and blue to
represent the flag of America.
The second image I have edited I have used the
brightness and contrast tool in order to make the
American flag stand out and to make the sky slightly
deeper. I have also used the posterize.
the Third image I have edited i have used the b&w tool to
make the image black and white only. I have done this
because when take shots for my Christmas portfolio I will
edit some images to make them black and white.

5. Process
I decided to use birthdays because birthdays are
celebrated all around the world. I have edited these
photos using Photoshop and within Photoshop I
have used different effects to change the original
photos I selected in order to make the images look
more like the products I wish to produce.
The first image I have edited I have used brightness
and contrast to brighten the candles more and
darken the background so that the audience can
focus on the candles and cake.
The second Image I have edited I have used the
vibrance tool to illuminate the bright colours and
the brightness tool to highlight the main faces in the
image. This image will be similar to mine because I
want to have bright colours in my shots and have the
main focus on people.
The third image I have edited I have used the b&w
tool because like how the hand and white balloons
stand out against the black balloons and
background. I chose this image because I like the
angle and the zoom focus used on the lens and how
it makes the image look abnormal.

6. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
I will include most of the edit tools I used in my experiments
because I think that they will make my product stand out
more and work well in my Christmas themed portfolio. I
chose images that have similar angles to the type that I want
take, in order to see how the effects work with the angles
and the lighting of the photos.
