of February 2021 all of the specs, sizes, audience figures and advice are up
to date.
Media consumption has shifted considerably into the niche digital spaces
over the last few years, during the 2020 pandemic digital platforms combined
rivaled live broadcast TV for daily hours of consumption for the first
time (data from Facebook For Business
Media Effectiveness research 2020) – so naturally it’s a no-brainer to start
thinking strategically about this area.
But the question arises of ‘where?’. It can be easy and tempting
to anchor your entire digital strategy around Facebook, Instagram
and YouTube, and by no means are we saying you shouldn’t do that. What
we are examining in this guide are the merits of spending some time in the
lesser used platforms for your brand.

was a precursor to Instagram stories – if it would look good there it would look good here, and
spec-wise they’re almost identical.

10 years it has been the in the top 5 highest traffic websites in the
world, just behind Facebook.
Reddit comprises hundreds and thousands of forums called Subreddits
that users subscribe to and submit their own specific content to,
combining to a createa personalized newsfeed per user of their
hobbies, interests and subscriptions.
It’s usually at the cutting edge of meme culture and is
where you go if you want to see the memes that will be
appearing on Facebook roughly 1 month from now.
