The Well-Architected Framework is designed to provide you with high-level guidance and best practices to help you build and maintain secure, reliable, performant, cost optimized, and operationally excellent applications in the AWS Cloud.

All rights reserved. 5 Pillars of Well Architected Operational Excellence: Run and monitor systems to deliver business value and to continually improve supporting processes and procedures. Security: Protect information, systems, and assets while delivering business value through risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Reliability: Recover from infrastructure or service failures, dynamically acquire computing resources to meet demand, and mitigate disruptions such as misconfigurations or transient network issues. Performance Efficiency: Use computing resources efficiently to meet system requirements, and to maintain that efficiency as demand changes and technologies evolve. Cost Optimization: Avoid or eliminate unneeded cost or suboptimal resources.

- AWS White Paper was first released XXXXXXXX - Customer oriented checklist AWS SAs started conducting reviews for important customer workloads in the cloud - How do review work In 2017 AWS started training AWS Partners in the AWS Well-Architected Framework Today there is only 100 approves partners, who can conduct AWS Well-Architected Reviews, in the world. Uturn is one of those Partners in the Chicago Area. WE WILL TOUCH ON WELL ARCHITECTED REVIEWS IN A COUPLE MINUTES
- By completing reviews on a semi-regular basis, you can compare your architecture to a sensible baseline and call for further action as needed.
- Develop an internal process to review new services announcements and enhancements and disseminate to your teams Automate, automate, automate! Consider game days to validate your designs, make it fun!
