20 year of innovation - the past, the present and the
future Forward Sports Private Limited is one of the few
companies in Sialkot industry that can trace its history
back in 20 years. Forward is family owned
manufacturing and exporting business concern of
footballs, volley balls, rugby balls, beech balls, sale
balls, medicine balls, bags etc.
The third generation of the family has entered the field
of international trade bringing together the established
business and family values, experience and skills
coupled with pertinent business education, knowledge
and expertise.

Forward Sports Private Limited and its management,
which has the privilege of creating and introducing new
spirit and techniques of doing the business that

After the 20 years of success of forward sports,
FORWARD GEAR was established.
Forward Gear was established in NOVEMBER, 2007 but
it started its production in JULY, 2008 in SIALKOT
Region.

 Summary:
Forward Gear was establishing in November 2007, but it
started its operations in July 2008. Forward Gear is a bag
manufacturing company which is now a leading bag
manufacturer for ADIDAS. Its leading customers are Adidas,
lotto, reebok and diadora. Its production capacity is 4, 00,000
per month with 200 different styles.

ADDIDAS with a production capacity of 600000 bags
per month. Its leading costumers are ADIDAS, Reebok,
DiaDora and Lotto. Combining unparalleled

research on the world’s most successful companies
The company generated net revenues of PKR 23.47
billion for the fiscal year ended Aug2012.

Target market
Basically no locallymarket is targeted as these are the
suppliers of well known brands like ADIDAS, DIADORA
Etc. Forward Gear don’t sell its products in open
market they don’t have to sale them out locally and
they cant even as they have a contract signed with
these brands.
Marketing strategy
Marketing strategies are selected by ADIDAS so
Forward Gear don’t have to do any marketing for their
products because they doesn’t have anyconcern with
the market outside as mainly it is only exporting its
products to ADIDAS, Reebok etc. so they do all the
marketing for Forward Gear.

Design and development plans
Forward Gear (Pvt.) Ltd. is a company manufacturing &
exporting bags for international markets. We
understand that our employees may have a hazard by
performing our activities and using raw materials,
natural and artificial resources.
All the designs come from the ADIDAS and most of the
material for the production is gathered from outside
and only little material is collected from domestic
suppliers.
Safety and reliability of its product is one of the
objectives of Forward Gear. And for this purpose
company is having two policies.

position in bags industry by satisfying our respectable
customer’s needs and expectation through providing

Kaizen Policy
Forward Gear (Pvt.) Ltd is focused and encourages the
suggestion giving by anyone which would be reviewed
by CI team. CI team shall announce the selected
projects for the kaizen activities to save the process
time and better production. After going through
implementation process stage will come for review by

incentives.

Major Risk Factors
Political Instability:
As the country’s economic value is
falling day by day we have to face problem of the
political instability in our business. E.g. Tax strategies
etc.
Electricity Shortfall:
Electricity shortfall is another main
risk factor our production lines gets disturbed by it. So
we have to spend money on the fuel for the generators
which is very costly.

This is the goal of Forward Gear (Pvt.) Ltd. November 15th, 2007.
Forward Gear started its set up and with Adidas as the major
customer. Company is moving forward to the goal it set.
Forward Gear is the first bag manufacturer in Pakistan for big brands
and it is going to change the whole bag manufacturing industry in the
world.
Pakistan is a promising site for the business and the combined
experience, knowledge and technology of Pakistan and Korea will
make a difference and it will shake the world by quality, on-time
delivery, price and innovative/future-oriented bag products.
It will be fun for you to watch how Forward Gear is moving forward
and how to achieve its goal day to day, week to week and year to

Analysis:
Over all Forward gear is a well-established company
holding up to more than 1300+ labor for their
production line as they are the leading manufacturers
in the sports field and exporting products to Adidas,
Diadora, Lotto, Reebok etc. Keeping the ethical values
in mind the Forward gear introduced many policies for
their workers to keep them satisfied with the
company’s profile. The company now has a position
where they can’t be compromised with the other local
vendors. They have a very strong base here in Pakistan
for exporting products to such well-known brands.
Every employee has the same rights as the other next
to him/her. Forward gear is not just a company who
just make products for the brands they also take care
of their employees with pure heart and true means.
