- 2. Aboalhasan ayad A student in the second stage of the Department of Architecture at the Technological University This work is from the 2020-2021 school year As the first project in the second academic stage in the Department of Architecture at the Technological University
- 3. The project is about designing an Ath- letic & Entertainment Facility including people of all ages to enjoy. It is located in Iraq, Baghdad.The site has a distinguished location, whereas, the Al-Jadriya bridge is from its right elevation, the uiversites of Baghdad and Nahrain near, and it’s overlooking the Tigris river. Besides that, the location is calm and there isn’t much visual pollution or build- ings there. Green areas are plenty near the site, it cover around 30% as well as water. therefore, it’s perfect to attract poeple of all ages. The site is 2560 sqm.

- 7. 7 Furniture the site is currently a public park so it is full of kids games and benches that need to be removed. As well as there are generators under the bridge. Scale Materials Elevations There aren’t many buildings that surrounded the project location most of them are far away enough that they may not have any effect on the project however, the height of jadriyah bridge is around 10 meters this high will give us promotion privileges -Originally the site is a park for cars so there’s asphalt street which contributes to the heat island effect. -The street and walkways aren’t levelled well, so in winter would impact the water flow to the swerge. -Facade of the surrounding buildings and pavements are old and dirty. a good opportunity is that the location overlooks the Tigris river directly which means the best views that can be the elevations of the building is the front view ( the ones that located to the IN to OUT OUT to IN Visual analysis
- 8. 8 Since the site has a 4m slop toward the river the form should be divided into different volumes each volume with its own activities and functions and arranged in the site according to the slop *Which could lead to gradation in the form the nature of the at least 7m in height
- 9. 9 Form Analysis Using light matériel’s for the celling with structural beams to maintain a large open space with out the need to disrupt the open space with structural columns Using flowing and smooth architecture to represent t building and its activists The nature of the spaces requires a high ceiling *The swimming areas and the gymnasium would be There shouldn’t be any spaces that require a lot of weights Above the swimming pool and the gymnasium, because this kind of celling cant support it,
