This Mime show is about the tragedy of those who lost their life. The mime was well
performed, the music and the whole presentation was outstanding. Nevertheless I do
fear that the mime performer should have extended his performance to make it more
emotional.
At the beginning of the show, the music have an effect on the act, the way the
performer lifts his head at the start of the music was very clever, it emphasises the
beginning of what is about to happen. The use of the performer body movement was
clear, it was simple. Every action the performer made could be seen by a far
audience. The way the performer over exaggerates his movement shows that he
wants everyone to know what his actions are saying.
The use of music in the mime show have an extremely effect on the overall
performance. I believe that the performer acts with the music even though the music
was classical and it has a median speed to it. I like the idea of how the music got
louder at some point when the performer pauses to turn toward the window and gave
a shock expression that he couldn’t believe what his eyes were seeing.
The use of the performer techniques was unique; all of the movement was well know
such as moving your hands in a way that it shows there is something blocking the
other side of where you are. The performer uses the whole of his body shine through
from such a small movement.
The performer uses the whole stage space and that is important in all aspect of
stage plays to be able to cover the whole space. The uses of levels in the mime
show was very good, especially where the mime performer bent down to carry
someone’s body over his shoulder was truly genius. The way the mime performer
dropped his body weight even lower as he tries to lift the body up was really clever.
Overall I enjoyed watching the mime show; it was very emotional and thought me of
ways of how a mime performer should act towards an audience.
