Level 2 Higher Diploma Unit 6: Festival Level 2 Higher Diploma Creative and MediaUnit 1: Scene 6.2.2 Resources A Student Book pp 186–95 Identifying your resources Consider the festival you are planning to stage and answer the following questions: Where will your festival take place? (Will events be staged at your school/college or another venue?) The event will take place in Central Foundation Girls School College Terrance. What equipment do you need? (This will depend on the type of events being staged, e.g. you may need sound equipment if one if your events is a concert.) We will need sound equipment for the stage such as-drum kit, guitar and piano. We will need tables and chairs for the different part of the festival that would be taking place in the main hall for-idea store, green land and other type of information desk. What materials do you need? (Are any artefacts being made specifically for the festival? What will be needed for the production of promotional materials such as posters and leaflets?) We will need artefact from student’s either-clay pot-paintings any artefact that has been made by the students. We will need posters and leaflets to promote the festival. Who will be contributing to the festival events? (Will you need help and support from people such as teachers and technicians? What will your own role be?) We will need the volunteers to support different part of the festival, we will need teachers and technicians and also we will need professional for all the activity that would be taking place.
