Create Microsoft
Learn Profile
Step 1:

❑ Go to Microsoft Learn. Click on Sign In.
Note:
1. You can login using an existing Microsoft account.
2. If you don’t have an existing Microsoft account, Create a new account .

❑ The system will display the email id with which
you are attempting sign-in. Check the details
and click on Next
❑ Select Your display name and click on Next.

❑ Select your County/Region by clicking on the dropdown. Select the country
as India and click on Save

Step 2:

❑ To start with your Free certification, Go to Certification portal .
❑ You will be navigated to the below page. You can view list of all available Microsoft
Fundamental Cloud Certifications.
❑ Click on SIGN IN

❑ System wil prompt you to enter your email id an password.
❑ Sign in using your Microsoft account created in step 1. Enter the password and click on Sign in
Note :
1. Use your personal Microsoft account such as @outlook.com @hotmail.com.
2. If you don’t have a Microsoft account. Create one for yourself.

❑ Click on “Yes” to allows the permission to access your email account info.

❑ The below screen will appear once the app permissions are allowed.
❑ Enter the School/University/College name and Select your county from the dropdown.
❑ Select both the checkboxes and Click on Submit.
Note : These details will be used while validating your student status.

Step 3:

❑ It’s time to validate your Student status. Click on VERIFY YOUR STUDENT STATUS

❑ There are multiple through which you can get your student status validated.
❑ Based on the option selected, submit all required details. Team will validate the details and
approve/disapprove

❑ If you do not have school email account, click
om “I can supply Documentation”.
❑ Add all required details as shown and upload
your college id card/ valid id proof issued from
institution
❑ Add all the details and click on Submit
❑ If you have an Email issued by your college
use “ I have a School Account” option
❑ Enter your email id issued by your
School/College/Institute
❑ Click on Verify

❑ Unless your status is approved you
will not be able to continue with next
steps.
❑ You can click on REVIEW YOUR
STUDENT STATUS to check on your
student status.
❑ Once your status is verified you will be
able to see message “ Your status is
verified”

❑ In case, your verification is not approved, or you are encountering an error, Click on Support
❑ If you have an issue/query related to academic verification, You can also check FAQ

Select your
Certification Exam
Step 4:

❑ Your status is now verified. You can proceed to select any of the available Microsoft Fundamentals.
❑ Click on “ START JOURNEY” against to activate your certification journey.
Note : You can activate any two certifications at a particular time.

❑ You are presented with the Learn, Prepare, Certify.
❑ At any time, you can self-attest that you completed the learning stage. Click on the Toggle button
to mark your learning as completed

❑ You can review the learning materials on Learn.
❑ Click on EXPLORE to review the self paced content

❑ This is an example of a collection of Learning Path on Microsoft Learn.
❑ Sign in into Microsoft Learn to save your learning progress.

❑ You can sign into Microsoft Learn using your personal Microsoft account, or you school account

❑ When you are signed in, your learning progress is saved

❑ Back at the Cloud Ready site, you can also review an Exam cram (for those exam which has it)

❑ Exam cram is a recording of exam preparation session

24. Self-attest once you have completed learning stage. The Free Practice Test will be activated.

❑ Click on Practice

❑ You can now practice for
your Exam!

Step 5:

❑ Now you can claim your Exam Voucher.

❑ Your certification voucher will be displayed learn. You have to use this
certification voucher on the Pearson website at the payment page

❑ You can learn more about taking a Microsoft exam with Pearson Vue
❑ The exam will be delivered using Pearson Vue platform

❑ You can also learn about requesting accommodations

❑ You’ve completed your learning. You’ve practiced for your exam. Now, go and book your exam!

❑ You will be taken to the Exam page

❑ Scroll down and Schedule with Pearson Vue

❑ If prompted, sign in using your personal Microsoft account. If you have verified your academic
status, you should see a green check mark when you select Student as Job Title

❑ Click continue

❑ Click Schedule Exam

❑ Follow the registration process

❑ At this stage, you should see the price for the exam. You will need to redeem the exam voucher next.

❑ Add your voucher code

❑ Copy the voucher code from the Cloud Ready site

❑ Paste it to the exam payment form

❑ You should now see 0 for the exam fee

❑ Good luck on your exam!!

❑ When you go back to Cloud Ready, your exam status should be reflected (there might
be 24 hour delay)

❑ If you passed your exam, congrats! Now you can share your achievement.

❑ Get your badge and share it out!

Error Message and
Reasons

Q: I am not able to schedule my exam? Getting the error “The voucher can only be used when a specific
client question has been answered. “

Ans : Your student verification is pending.
❑ Please refer Slide 14 for steps on how to validate yourself as Student.
❑ Once you are verified as student – You will be able to see below screen on “ Cloud Ready Portal
