1. Make an Outline
Next, you need to make an outline for your presentation. You
might want to write out the full script for your presentation to
practice reading, but you do not want to read directly from that
script when you present. The best idea is to make an outline to
practice with so that your speaking sounds more natural.
In your outline, be sure to start with an introduction. Then in the
body, include several main points and details. You'll want to be
sure to use some language cues to signal the organization and
shifts in your topic. Finally, plan a conclusion that will give
and leave your audience thinking about your topic. See the
