Secondary bacterial infection of the ulcer results
in severe, Purulent balanoposthitis

Diagnosis:
History
Semen like secretion
Sometimes have bad odor
Oozing of pus
Clinical signs
Inspection and palpation of prepuce
Unusual hard consistency
Any sharp object like pin
Bacteriological test
Collection of swab from glans penis and prepuce for
isolation and identification of organisms
7. Posthitis
Treatment:
Irrigation with acriflavin 0.01% for 5 days
Antibiotic (Penicillin, Oxytetracycline)
Surgery if prepuce is obstructed
Pain killer (Doxycycline, Diazepam)
Antihistaminic drugs (Histavet)
