  2. 2. Express Entry is a Canadian online process that receives applicants into the whole country of Canada. Successful Candidates in Express Entry can live any where in the country, because it is a FEDERAL Programme
  3. 3. Express Entry is points- based. To get a high score in the skilled worker category applicants usually should; 1. Be lower than 30 years 2. Have a second degree 3. Have a very high score in IELTS not less than 7 4. Have ample work experience
  4. 4. Some provinces (just like states in a country) run special programmes to allow migration specifically into those provinces. This is to fill the labour gaps in those provinces We would be looking at 3 of such programmes that can run with or without Express Entry.
  5. 5. AIPP. (Atlantic Immigration Pilot Programme) RNIP. (Rural and Northern Immigration Programme) SINP. (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee programmme )
  6. 6. It was launched to get immigrants settle in the 4 Atlantic provinces in Canada, these are;  New Brunswick  Newfoundland and Labrador  Nova Scotia  Prince Edward Island
  7. 7.  The programme started in 2017 and at the end of 3 years 2500 people had migrated through it. The programme was extended in March 2020 to bring in 5000 immigrants each in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
  8. 8. Because immigrants are needed in the 4 provinces the requirements of AIPP is low compared to the Express Entry  IELTS REQUIREMENT IS CLB 4… that is minimum of  4.5 in Listening  3.5 in Reading  4 in Writing  4 in Speaking

  10. 10. AIPP IS EMPLOYER DRIVEN, This means one must get an offer of employment from a designated employer in any of the 4 provinces. This means that not all job offers can work for AIPP, the job must be from an employer qualified to bring in foreign workers

  13. 13. This is the singular most important step in AIPP. MPIK has an updated list of the designated employers in all the 4 provinces, this and the best job sites would be sent to you via email.
  14. 14.  Programme started in 2019, based on the success of the first phase of AIPP. Rural Canada has all basic amenities, however they are faced with a declining workforce as the elderly are retiring.
  15. 15.  Offer of Employment for a job in demand in the community or previous post- secondary study in the community.  Language or IELTS requirement is CLB 6  WES. Credential Screening  RNIP is also employer driven
