2. ABAB
ABAB rhyme is when:
-The first line (ABAB)
rhymes with the 3rd line (ABAB)
-The second line (ABAB)
rhymes with the 4th line (ABAB)
Example:
My Cat loves to sing
His hat is big and red
His favorite jewlery is his ring
“I love my outfit” he said.
*The words in green rhyme and the words in red rhyme, this is ABAB*
3. AABB
AABB rhyme is when:
The 1st line (AABB)
Rhymes with the 2nd line (AABB)
The 3rd line (AABB)
Rhymes with the 4th line (AABB)
Example:
My cat
is fat
he is silly
his name is willy
The red words rhyme and the green words rhyme, this is AABB.
4. ABCB
ABCB is when: The 2nd line (ABCB)
rhymes with the 4th line (ABCB)
The 1st line (ABCB) and the 3rd line dont rhyme with any other line (ABCB)
Example:
My cat named willy
is hugley fat
he sleeps and day
and on the floor he always sat.
The red words rhyme the green and pink do not, that is ABCB.
