2. Research on Horror music
Music is used in all genre of film. It's to add atmosphere.
• Music is used to determine the mood for the viewer and to make the viewer
feel certain emotions.
• In a horror movie, scary sinister music will be used to give a dramatic effect
which feels like its leading up to something. This adds suspense as the viewer is
almost suspecting something to happen because of the dark music.
•The music adds to the atmosphere to increase the intensity of the film, overall
this will add to the suspense and make the film scarier.
