2. Pilot based trusted passenger programme is to be launched at Delhi and Mumbai by 2023.Target to cover 15
International Airports by 2027 and rest airports and major seaports to be covered by 2032.
3. e-gates established: On pilot basis, 2 arrays of e-gates, one each for arrival and departure at IGI Airport.

Introduction of Electronic Visa (e-Visa) and Visa on arrival
1. Make entry easier for foreign citizens through visa. At present foreigners from156 countries can take e-visa
for business, medical treatment, medical attendance and conference purposes.
2. Visa on Arrival facilities have been extended to the citizens of Japan, South Korea and United Arab Emirates
for business, tourism, conferences and medical purposes.
Liberalization of Indian Visa System
The number of major categories of visa was reduced from 26 to 21. And the number of subcategories were
reduced from 104 to 65.

1. One stop availability of visa related services and other relevant information.
2. Su-swagatam (India Visit) named mobile app has been developed which has been launched for the citizens
of 60 nations.
