This is the introduction to
the radio advert. It
includes phone like sound
that makes it sound like
the people who perform
the roleplay are on their
phone. This keeps the
audiences attention on the
radio show as they an
relate to the sounds of the
phone and notifications.

3. SCREENSHOT 2
The next step includes
adding the narrator to the
radio advert. This is the
main person you will hear
and fills the body of the
advert. As a group we
decided to add all the
audio into the garage
band before editing the
footage and adding
effects.

Then we added voxpops
from our original
documentary into the
radio advert. This creates
a link between both
aspects. We were then
able to sort out the
sound levels for the
voxpops as they were
different sound levels.

We were then able to add a
music bed, we decided to
add the same music as our
documentary, this yet again
links the two together so that
they have common interests.
This music allows a smooth
radio show with no awkward
silences.

I then began to change
the sound levels so that
they all sound around the
same volume. This makes
the radio advert appear
professional. This is quite
time consuming yet
makes a difference.

At this point we realised
that our radio show was
too long. This is vital to
keep a short radio show as
it captivates the audience
and keeps them engrossed.
We had to cut little sections
out and move all the
footage across to fill up the
spaces. This was quite
difficult as then we had to
adjust the sound levels.
