Of course, picking the right show is also important and this ASD Market Week report details why we feel ASD is the best choice for you. Why even exhibit at a trade show at all? In the new virtual world some people feel trade shows are less important. Not surprisingly, we disagree as the very nature and impact of a face-to-face meeting cannot and will not be replaced by virtual communications. By far. We see a lot of West Coast buyers who do not go to the other [East Coast] shows, it’s a great way to service these buyers and meet new ones we don’t see in any other way. I have been impressed with the gift buyers we have been seeing. We exhibit in 20 to 25 shows a year, and we still find unique, quality buyers here, we see buyers at ASD that we just don’t see at any other show. This was our one of our best opening days at ASD MARKET WEEK! This show is bringing us NEW buyers which do not come to any of the other shows we do making it a must attend event! ASD has been the perfect match for our product and has paired us up with wholesalers, retailers and even QVC and we expect to have sales in excess of $1 Million from the show and we are a first-time exhibitor! It was my first time showing at ASD and we made some tremendous contacts with potential to open some very large doors! We also had several key buyers stop in which I like to call “diamonds.” With the world of trade shows changing by the day, these kinds of contacts are what makes a show worthwhile and keeps you coming back. This is our first time at ASD. We do a lot of shows across the country, and already at just halfway through the show, ASD has been one of our top shows of the year for order-writing. We are getting a return on our investment. I am tired of paying for shows that don’t bring in any money. We are definitely going to replace one of the gift shows we usually attend with ASD. Of all the shows we have done, I would give this a 5-star rating. Great leads, solid sales and contacts. Even Walmart is interested in our products. We are new exhibitors to the show and are very happy with our return on investment.
