Going green is an approach to living that focuses on protecting the environment and conserving natural resources. “Go Green” is an Earth-friendly approach to living.
 This means the choices you make in your day-to-
day life are in the best interest of the environment.
 It means supporting the conservation of earth’s
Natural Resources as well as supporting the

Family , Businesses, Lifestyles, Communities and
your Legacy.

3.  To “go green” is a metaphor for a cause, but the
cause is not the one you might think it is.
 Green is not about saving energy, it is not about
conversation or living more efficiently by recycling.

thing ,i.e. GLOBAL WARMING by carbon emissions.
 Going Green can also have positive effects on personal

 Going Green can have economic benefits for communities,
businesses and households.
 On a business level, going green can help improve an

7. Global Warming Causes
 Global warming is caused by the release of
carbon emissions into the atmosphere.
 When carbon gases are released in the air, they
act like a blanket shield that traps heat in our
atmosphere and warms up the planet.
 Scientists quantify it as the rise in average
temperature of the Earth’s surface and oceans.
 Most of it has been caused by the increase in
concentrations in greenhouse gases produced by
humans burning fossil fuels and by the effects of
deforestation.

The Go Green Initiative (GGI) was founded in 2002 in
Pleasanton ,California by Jill Buck.
 The Go Green Initiative is an environmental education
and stewardship program located in all 50 US states and
in 73 countries.
