In which scenario should your attorney be called first
before taking any other steps?
• You have a long standing worker’s comp claim (7 years) and
that staff member is regularly tardy and/or calls off for
reasons not related to the injury. While they are here, they
are performing their duties appropriately.
• Your board has approved renewing the contract with your
current cleaning company. The cleaning company has sent
an updated contract for your review and signature.
• You finished a building renovation 9 months ago. As part of
the renovation, all your windows were replaced. The
windows have started leaking and several have
condensation in between the panes. Your warranty with
the construction company was for 12 months from the date
of completion and the windows themselves have a 5 year
warranty.
