A wise army chief and a statesmen prime minister would have
gladly ordered 100 people gunned down in Islamabad rather
than prove their Punjabi credentials ?
This is as serious a strategic blunder as Pakistans 1965 war
where keeping just two brigades in majority province east
pakistan and deploying 90 % army to guard Punjab in 1965 was
the first step towards alienation and ultimate secession of East
Pakistan as Bangladesh in 1971.
When there is any danger of losing punjabi lives the
PAKISTANI establishment compromises but FATA and
BALUCHISTAN are non punjabi and deserve to be bombed and
totally destroyed –

that no colonel or brigadier refused to fire in Sindh where 75 %
of 1977 agitation protestors were killed in Lahore (Punjab
