• www.breakingnewsenglish.com – Created by Sean Banville, this site
contains current affairs lessons with a lot of materials. Also has a
sound clip of Sean Banville reading the news.
• http://www.famouspeoplelessons.com/ - Lessons based on famous
people. These include reading, listening, gap fills, spelling, etc.
• http://lessonstream.org/ - Created by Jamie Keddie, this site uses
pre-made videos and bases activities on them.
• http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/ - Many teaching
resources. BBC videos have a direct download facility. Includes
phonemes pronunciation videos.
• http://keepvid.com/ - This facility allows videos to be downloaded
from the internet and stored on a computer. This is done by copying
the web address of the video and pasting it into the keepvid
download box.

• http://www.lyricstraining.com/ - A site that allows you to play songs and lets
the students see the lyrics in real time, so that they do not get lost. For gap
fills, the song will not continue passed the gap until it has been filled, unless
skip or repeat is selected.
