data in the worksheet. Charts make it
easy to see comparisons, patterns and
trends in the data.

default. An embedded chart is placed on
the same worksheet as the source data
used to create it.
To embed a chart in a worksheet, perform
the steps given below
Click on the view menu and point the toolbar.
Click on chart option & Select the range of cells.
Click chart type, pull down arrow & select chart.
Open the chart options dialog box to add a title
to your chart.
Select the titles tab & type the title of the
chart in the Chart title text box.
16. Click on chart menu.
Select location option.
The Chart location dialog box will appears.
Select as new sheet option.
Click the OK button.
Sometimes you may want to create a chart and
place it on a separate sheet in the workbook.
This is called a chart sheet.
To move an embedded chart to a chart sheet,
perform the following steps.
Create an embedded chart.
Select the chart to be moved to a chart sheet.
17. To delete a chart, perform the
following steps.
Click anywhere on the white space of
the chart area to select the chart.
Press the delete key on your keyboard.
Any embedded chart or chart sheet
can be deleted from a worksheet. A
chart sheet is deleted in the same
manner a worksheet is deleted.
