Singer (Lata Mangeshkar).
• The song B2, from the film B1, has been used in an
advertisement, featuring a prominent Bollywood actress,
for Secret Temptation deodorants.

• A 1990s TV serial, directed by Sunil Agnihotri, that was scrapped
before completion due to declining viewership. The plot took far too
many liberties from the source material and that might have led to
its rising unpopularity after the initial hype.
• A 2011 TV serial that aired on Sahara One, by the same director
Sunil Agnihotri, that took the same degree of deviations from the
source material. The show was also a massive flop.
• A romantic fantasy adventure film, which was supposed to be
directed by Ram Madhvani, but has been shelved indefinitely due
to financial reasons and production difficulties.

• D began in 1952 with a few enthusiastic members in the
southern part of an Indian city. Today D is a “voluntary
and non-profit organization that has grown up over the
years with the active support of the cultural fraternity”
of the city. D organizes a classical dance festival annually
that has seen participation from actresses like
Vyjayanthimala, Asha Parekh, Hema Malini and Sudha
Chandran. D also organizes a talent hunt contest every
year for teens and young adults of the age group
between 16 to 24 years.
