The retail industry is booming, but it also faces
one of the largest employee turnover rates. With
employees walking in and out constantly, it is
time consuming and expensive to carry out
training. Training robs into the floor time that an
employee is expected to clock in and either of
the following three things happen:
• Employees clock in training hours but
productivity suffers.
• Employees clock in floor time, but training
suffers.
• Employees get trained and move away looking
for better jobs, leaving the not-so-bright staff
behind.
