Date- 20/11/16
Location- Chris’House,alleyway
Scene(s) Filmed- A conversationbetweenAlex andSophie,Aswellasthe kidnappingscene.
On the seconddayof filmingwe filmedmostof the openingsequence.Byfollowingthe production
schedule Iproducedwe managedtoensure we hadenoughtime tosetup equipment,filmeach
scene andreviewanyfootage.The equipmentusedincludedaCamera, Tripod,Slider,Softbox
lighting,A microphone andadrone.All whichwere providedbyteammembers.
Conversationscene- ThiswasfilmedwithinChris’house inthe livingroomasshownwithinlocation
ideasandlocationrecce.We filmedthe charactersconversationusingtwocamerasenablingusto
not breakthe 180 degree rule andalsosavingustime we alsousedsoftbox lightingtoshow
characters ina good lighting. We used cameras,one tofocuson Alex andone onSophie.We also
useda microphone torecordthe audioto make it cleareras well ashelpingwiththe smoothnessof
the audiowhentransitioningbetweenshotsof the kidnappingandconversationassome of itis
narrated.
Kidnappingscene- Withinthissectionof filmingwe usedthe drone forthe establishingshotinorder
to setthe scene of the alleyway.Thistookaratherlarge amountof time to filmaswe had to make
sure shotswere variedandas clear as possible.Despite occasionalpausestoallow the publictowalk
past we workedeffectivelywellbycapturingall shotsonour shotlistas well asa few extrawe also
finishedmuchearlierthanwe intendedto.
Evaluation- overall Ithinkthe secondday of filmingwasparticularlysuccessful.We managedto
record everythingthatwasneededforouropeningproductionaswell asgainingadditional
unplannedfootage whichthe groupfeltwouldcontribute tohelpingunfoldthe narrative abitmore.
Similarly,we all workedwell asa groupcontributingideasasmuchas possible.IfeltItookonmy
role of producerwell asI made sure everythingwasontime and as well starringwithinthe
production.
