Preguntando por un lugar
Para preguntar donde queda un lugar la pregunta es “Where is…….?” Por
ejemplo: “ Where is the hospital?” (¿Donde esta el hospital?) Se responde
de dos formas, puedes decir “the hospital is on Park avenue” o la versión más
corta , en lugar de “the hospital” usas solo la preposición “it” , quedaría así: “It is
on Park avenue” (Está sobre la avenida park).
2.4 Observa el mapa anterior y contesta las siguientes preguntas, trata de
usar diferentes preposiciones para tus respuestas.

Para dar la indicación de cómo llegar a un lugar son 3 aspectos
los que hay que dar como referencia:
1.-Debes indicar sobre que calle debe caminar la persona , luego
2.-En que calle debe girar a la izquierda o derecha
3.-Por ultimo puedes dar como referencia un lugar cercano
3.1 Lee la siguiente conversación, luego observa el mapa de abajo y trata
de descubrir donde esta la casa de STEVE (A, B o C).
SUSAN: Hey Jeremy, are you going to Steve’s party tonight?
JEREMY: Sure, I even bought a new camera just to take pictures!
SUSAN: Do you know where his house is? How can I get there?
JEREMY: Of course it´s near my house. We just need to walk two blocks on Yellow
Street, turn left on Elm street and it’s just around the corner. It’s on Parker Avenue.
SUSAN: Can I go with you?
JEREMY: Sure, no problem. What time do we meet?
SUSAN: around eight p.m.
JEREMY: Ok, see you then!
SUSAN: Bye.

de averiguar de que lugar se trata.
