brands, again this is a form of
advertising for the brands as
people will then wear the same
brands worn by the stars.

stars are a form of free
advertising for these
products.
Due to the results of my questionnaire I have decided to have a male star
featured on the front cover of my magazine, for this I have asked a peer to
pose as a celebrity on the cover of my magazine. Having chosen the hip hop
genre I have had to research and take in to consideration the types of clothes
male hip hop stars wear…

2. Having taken in to consideration the clothing of the male featured on my magazine,
I had to think about how I would like my star to be portrayed. To do this I thought
about the way in which my star would pose and his body language. Hip hop stars
usually pose in ways that reflect their persona therefore I wanted my star to pose
in what would be referred to as a “cool” way. Also they usually look quite serious
and rarely smile therefore I do not want my model to be smiling. The stars also
seem quite lose and look like they are not really bothered, I would like my model to
portray this sort of image.
As you can see he is not
smiling and seems to look
more serious.
Body language is quite
lose, does not seem
smart, reflects his cool
persona.
