2. Editing and Camera
0 I feel that I have progressed well and have gained new
skills from the preliminary task to the final product.
Most of which are based on editing and camera
work/shots to create different atmospheres and levels
of excitement, tension or suspense which is
particularly useful to my genre.

3. Software
0 Throughout both tasks we have had to use the
software "Sony Vegas Movie Studio" which has
allowed me to cut, edit and create various effects and
moods. The preliminary task allowed me to learn the
basics of the software allowing me to build on my
knowledge and editing skills. One of which is adding
visual effects such as grain, texture, various colour
effects and use transitions allowing me to create a
tense dreamy atmosphere.

4. Continuity Editing
0 Continuity editing was a definite advantage from my
preliminary task to my final product as it allowed me
to create a more realistic atmosphere, for example
match on action, crossing the line, shot reverse shot
etc.

5. Camera Techniques
0 I have also learnt that camera shots are important
when trying to create intensity and have therefore
learnt various techniques to aid this, such as using
close ups/extreme close ups of characters to gain
their feelings and emotions.
