1. How did you attract/address your audience?

2. Main Character We chose Lauren to be our main character as we decided that she fitted the conventions of a chick flick. She is blonde, tall, slim and pretty. You could easily imagine her wearing clothes of a ‘preppy’ nature, although she only wore school uniform.

3. Music We used up to date music by popular musicians who would already be known to our target audience. The songs fitted the convention of a chick flick and they were relevant to theme of our film.

4. Situation and Themes Our film features themes of identity and family issues, both of which adolescents would have experience with at this age The initial situation of Felicity preparing for school is also common among teenagers Another theme in our film is that of a moment of ‘metatonia’ where a protagonists'’ beliefs are drastically changed.

5. Mise-En-Scene We made sure that the room was conventional of a young, wealthy teenage girl. Her hair and make up was natural but still ‘perfect.’ The way she wore her school uniform (slightly shorter skirt, heels) is more natural to a teenager of today. We also created a notice board full of photos to add to the Mise-En-Scene.
