2. IMAGES
 The central image is of a teenager and my target
audience are teenagers and young adults. This will
naturally attract the teenage audience as they will feel
they are able to relate to the artist.
 The supporting image on the bottom right of the front
cover is also a teenager, she is holding a guitar. This will
attract aspiring musicians. It also makes the singer/band
look more talented and committed as they are not just
relying on other people to provide the backing music,
they could contribute to it as well.
 In the double-page spread, there is a variety of
funny/silly pictures of Zoe, this appeals to people who
don’t take themselves seriously and enjoy celebrities
doing the same.

3. COLOUR SCHEMES
 The main colour scheme of my magazine is red and
black. I chose these colours because they are the
most dynamic and represent confidence and power
– the attributes that all the artists that are featured
in the magazine have.
 Many other magazines use the same colour
scheme. This is because it is very eye-catching, I
don’t think that because it is the same colour
scheme, that it would not be noticed. The borders
make sure it is even more obvious.

4. CONTENTS PAGE AND DOUBLE-PAGE SPREAD
 I used an Editorial in the contents page as I wanted it to
seem personal to the editor, so the audience would feel
that when they are reading the magazine, it would be
like having a gossip with their friends. In the double-
page spread, all the questions that they would ask the
celebrity if they were to ever meet them, were asked by
the journalist and so they would also feel like they are
getting to know the artist better.
 I also changed the font colour of the artists to red so it
would be more visible and would attract the attention of
the reader.
 In the double-page spread, I used an clever and
inspirational quote from Zoe that would appeal to people
who think all celebrities are perfect. Many people are
attracted to read an article where a celebrity is talking
about having made mistakes.
