163. High Strength Steel Riveting Henrob Limited has been developing a new range of Self Pierce Rivets which can be used to join High Strength Steels (HSS) to HSS. Plus HSS to aluminium, these products are now ready for production release. Henrob has developed a new range of rivets for joining high strength steels, heavy gauge steels and thick steel and aluminium applications. The rivets were developed to facilitate the joining of Dual Phase (DP) and TRIP steels in the range 600 to 1000 Mpa using the existing Henrob setting equipment. The high strength rivets are available in the length range 5 to 14mm, with Pan and Countersink Head Styles.
