Surely, there must be a reason for our being put on this life journey. ThusSurely, there must be a reason for our being put on this life journey. Thus
Islam teaches us what are we suppose to seek in this world which weIslam teaches us what are we suppose to seek in this world which we
can bring back; what can benefit us when we cross-over thecan bring back; what can benefit us when we cross-over the
threshold of death, into the intermediary world of the grave, andthreshold of death, into the intermediary world of the grave, and
inevitably be made to be accountable on the Day of Judgment.inevitably be made to be accountable on the Day of Judgment.
LET US CONTINUE WITH SURAH AZ-ZUMAR

““ And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in theAnd the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the
heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead exceptheavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except
whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and atwhom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at
once they will be standing, looking on.”once they will be standing, looking on.”

““ And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, andAnd the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and
the record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophetsthe record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophets
and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judgedand the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged
between them in truth, and they will not be wronged.between them in truth, and they will not be wronged.
And every soul will be fully compensated [for] what itAnd every soul will be fully compensated [for] what it

your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this Day ofyour Lord and warning you of the meeting of this Day of

"Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to"Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to

And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has fulfilled for us HisAnd they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has fulfilled for us His

ENDING OF THEENDING OF THE

Salutations and Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah,Salutations and Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah,
Muhammad, son of ‘Abdullah;Muhammad, son of ‘Abdullah;
WA-WA- SWSWOLAA -TU – WAS- SA-LAA-MU - ‘ALAA- ROSUU-LIL-LAAHOLAA -TU – WAS- SA-LAA-MU - ‘ALAA- ROSUU-LIL-LAAH
MUMUHHAM-MAD – IB-NU – ‘ABDILLAAHAM-MAD – IB-NU – ‘ABDILLAAH

and upon his Household and Companions,and upon his Household and Companions,
and all who follow and are loyal to himand all who follow and are loyal to him
(and support him in his cause).(and support him in his cause).
WA- ‘ALAA – AA - LIHI – WA –WA- ‘ALAA – AA - LIHI – WA –SWSWOH- BIHI –OH- BIHI –
WA-MAN – TA-BI- ’A-HU – WA – WAA - LAHWA-MAN – TA-BI- ’A-HU – WA – WAA - LAH

YA ROB-BANAA’- TA-ROF- NAAYA ROB-BANAA’- TA-ROF- NAA
BI- AN-NA-NAQ –TA-ROF- NAABI- AN-NA-NAQ –TA-ROF- NAA
O our Lord! We do admit earnestly,O our Lord! We do admit earnestly,
that we have committed sins (excesses).that we have committed sins (excesses).

WA- AN-NA-NAA - AS-ROF-NAA
‘A-LAL- LA –ZO ASH-ROF-NAA
And we have exceeded the bounds, such that
we know we deserve the punishment.

FA- TUB- ‘ALAY - NAA - TAW-BAAFA- TUB- ‘ALAY - NAA - TAW-BAA
TAGH-SI-LU -KUL- LA –TAGH-SI-LU -KUL- LA – HHAW-BAAAW-BAA
(Therefore O Allah, we beg You to) Accept our repentance,(Therefore O Allah, we beg You to) Accept our repentance,
Such that (Your acceptance of it) washes awaySuch that (Your acceptance of it) washes away
all our faults (and wrong-doings)all our faults (and wrong-doings)

WAS-TUR – LA-NAL - ‘AU-RAA-TIWAS-TUR – LA-NAL - ‘AU-RAA-TI
WA- AA-MI-NIR - RAU- ‘AA - TIWA- AA-MI-NIR - RAU- ‘AA - TI
And cover for us whatever that may bring upon us shame,And cover for us whatever that may bring upon us shame,
And grant us peace (security) from things which causeAnd grant us peace (security) from things which cause
us to be afraid.us to be afraid.

WAGH- FIR - LI-WAA - LI- DEE - NAA,WAGH- FIR - LI-WAA - LI- DEE - NAA,
ROB-BI - WA- MAU - LU-DEE - NAAROB-BI - WA- MAU - LU-DEE - NAA
And forgive the sins of all our parents,And forgive the sins of all our parents,
And all our siblings / children - O Lord!And all our siblings / children - O Lord!

WAL- AH-LI –WAL - IWAL- AH-LI –WAL - IKHKH - WAA-NI,- WAA-NI,
WA-SAA- IRIL-WA-SAA- IRIL- KHKHI - LAA-NII - LAA-NI
And all the family members and all our brothers/sisters,And all the family members and all our brothers/sisters,
And all our loyal acquaintances .And all our loyal acquaintances .

WA – KUL - LI – DzEE - MA-WA – KUL - LI – DzEE - MA- HHAB - BAAB - BA
AU- JEE –RO-TIN - AU- SwUAU- JEE –RO-TIN - AU- SwUHH - BA- BA
And everyone who possesses love towards us,And everyone who possesses love towards us,
And all of our neighbours and companions.And all of our neighbours and companions.

WAL- MUS – LI – MEE -NA - AJ -MA’WAL- MUS – LI – MEE -NA - AJ -MA’
AA- MEE - NA - ROB- BI - FAS - MA’AA- MEE - NA - ROB- BI - FAS - MA’
And the Muslims, everyone of them ,And the Muslims, everyone of them ,
Make it so O Lord! Do hear (this, our plea).Make it so O Lord! Do hear (this, our plea).

FADw - LAN - WA-JUU - DAN - MAN-NAAFADw - LAN - WA-JUU - DAN - MAN-NAA
LAA- BIK-TI - SAA- BIN - MIN-NAALAA- BIK-TI - SAA- BIN - MIN-NAA
(Grant us) because of Your Excellences and(Grant us) because of Your Excellences and
Your Generosity in Bestowals,Your Generosity in Bestowals,
Not because of the efforts which we have done.Not because of the efforts which we have done.

BIL- MUSw – TwA-FAR - RA-SUU-LIBIL- MUSw – TwA-FAR - RA-SUU-LI
NAH - ZO - BI- KUL-LI - SUU-LINAH - ZO - BI- KUL-LI - SUU-LI
By (the right of Muhammad) The Chosen Messenger,By (the right of Muhammad) The Chosen Messenger,
We hope to attain all that we ask for (from You ,O Allah)We hope to attain all that we ask for (from You ,O Allah)

As much as the droplets of rainAs much as the droplets of rain

WAL-WAL- HHAM – DU-LIL - I - LAA-HIAM – DU-LIL - I - LAA-HI
FIL – BAD - I – WAT- TA - NAA- HIFIL – BAD - I – WAT- TA - NAA- HI
And all the Praise belongs to Allah,And all the Praise belongs to Allah,
In the beginning and (till) the end.In the beginning and (till) the end.

WA- SwOL-LALLAA-HU- ‘ALAA SAY-DI-NAA - MUHAMMADIN
WA ‘ALAA – AA-LIHI -WA SwOH-BI-HI - WA-SAL-LAM
And salutations of Allah and Peace be upon our
Leader Muhammad, and upon His household
and Companions .
