From Event to Action: Accelerate Your Decision Making with Real-Time Automation
Innovations
1.
2. origination: the act or process
of inventing or introducing
something new.
new idea or method
New way of doing
something

5. Some milestones in this
field are the following:
• New DNA vaccine technology
•Photo- Morpholinos (gene tools)
• DNA bullets tag criminals for later
arrest
• Innovative technologies for biology
and healthcare
•New way to kill Lymphoma without
chemotherapy
•Four-stranded DNA structure?
•Possibility of an Alzheimer’s vaccine
6. New DNA vaccine technology
Scientists revealed the
universal platform for
delivering highly potent DNA
vaccines, by employing a reengineered bacterium to speed
delivery to host cells in the
vaccine recipient.
7. They have pioneered techniques using
salmonella as a cargo vessel to deliver
a suite of disease antigens to the
recipient.
The result is an ongoing refinement
of RASVs (Recombinant Attenuated
Salmonella Vaccines), capable of
provoking an intense, system-wide
immune response and effective
immunity.
9. DNA bullets tag criminals
for later arrest
•The bullets are fired from a rifle and
pistol, and are effective at distances
up to about 130 feet.
•The material is made of a polymer
called polypyrrole and another
polymer called polyol-borate
11. •Development of point of care
on a chip in which selfcontained portable labs can
concentrate a tiny sample of
blood, water or air, identify
its molecular structure and
immediately detect
pathogens or toxins
12. Annihilating lymphoma is starving it to
death by depriving it of what it
appears to be a favorite food: HDL
cholesterol
13. New nanoparticle acts like a secret
double agent. It appears to the
cancerous lymphoma cell like a
preferred meal- HDL. When the
particle engages the cell, it plugs it
up and blocks cholesterol from
entering.
14. The technique allows
researchers to look at the effect
of genes in specific tissues of an
organism or during different
periods of development.
15. •Four-stranded DNA structure,
known as G- quadruplexes, exist
within the human genome.
•Form in regions of DNA that are
rich in the building block
Guanine.
16. •Quadruplexes are more likely
to occur in genes of cells that
are rapidly dividing, such as
cancer cells.
•Research highlights the
potential for exploiting these
unusual DNA structures to beat
cancer.
17. •The molecule MPL( monophosphoryl
lipid A) can eliminate up to 80% of the
senile plaques associated with
Alzheimer’s disease when injected into
mice.
