Their fleet is one of the youngest in the world at 120 aircraft serving over 120 destinations across Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America. They have equity partnerships with airlines in 49 countries and codeshare partnerships with 49 airlines, giving their combined network nearly 600 destinations and over 25,200 weekly flights.

together with its subsidiary and joint venture organisations, continued to play a crucial role in
supporting and driving economic growth in the UAE across the following three key areas:

Partners contribution:
Etihad Airways’ strategic equity partners continued to support the
economic growth of the UAE in 2014, and had a core economic
contribution of US$ 141 million and supported 1,000 jobs in the Emirate
of Abu Dhabi. In addition they had a positive tourism impact,
contributing over US$3 30 million to the Abu Dhabi tourism industry,
and provided connectivity benefits of almost US$800 million.

Core Economic Contribution:
The core economic growth contributions are classified into a number of
key areas: direct (within Etihad), indirect (suppliers to Etihad), induced
(spending of direct and indirect employees) and catalytic (impacts on
other industries).
In 2014, Etihad Airways’ core operations and capital expenditure
contributed a total of US$ 6.4 billion to Abu Dhabi and supported over
67,000 jobs in total.

Connectivity Economic Contribution:
Etihad Airways also played an important role in improving air links
between Abu Dhabi and the rest of the global economy, which was
estimated at US$ 9.59 billion, and helped sustain over 120,000 jobs in
Abu Dhabi in 2014.
Tourism Economic Contribution:
Etihad Airways’ services around the world acted as a critical
facilitator for the UAE’s domestic tourism industry, which
contributed US$ 945 million and 12,106 jobs in 2014.
