LET’S “ Let’s” yapısı bir şeyler yapmayı önerdiğimizde kullanılır. “ Let’s” den sonra fiil yalın halde olur.
Let’s go to school.  (Hadi okula gidelim.)
Let’s play chess.  ( Hadi satranç oynayalım.)
Olumsuz yaparken “Let’s” den sonra “not” getirilir. Let’s not eat a lot. (Hadi çok yemeyelim.)
Aynı zamanda bu yapıyı teklif ve ricalarda da kullanabiliriz. Let’s give you a hand. (Sana yardım edelim.) Let’s have a look. (Bir bakalım)
WHY DON’T WE ….? Why don’t we …? Bir önerinde bulunma sorusudur. ‘Neden bu işi yapmıyoruz’ anlamı taşır. Yani “isterseniz bunu yapalım” demektir. Bu manada  “Let’s” ile aynı anlama gelir.
The film is boring. Why don’t we go out? (Fim sıkıcı. Neden dışarı çıkmıyoruz?)
A: Your sister likes flowers. So why don’t you buy some flowers for her birthday? B: That’s a good idea.
A: Why don’t we listen to music? B: Let’s listen to music.
Shall I / we …..? What shall  I / we ……? Where shall I / we ….? When shall I / we …?
Shall we play football on Saturday? Shall we go to the cinema at this weekend? Shall we eat a pizza? Shall we study English?
A: What shall we buy for her? B: Let’s buy a book for her.
A: Where shall we go on Sunday? B: Let’s go to Botanic Park.
A: What shall we do at the weekend? B: Let’s play computer games.
A: When shall we go to film? B: At seven o’clock.
A: When shall we study Mathematics? B: On Friday afternoon.
HOW ABOUT ……?  WHAT ABOUT ……? Bu yapılar, yine bir şeyler yapmayı önerdiğimizde kullanılır. Bu yapılardan sonra fiil “-ing” eki alır. “Bunu yapmaya ne dersin? gibi bir anlama gelir.
How about going to a movie? (Bir filme gitmeye ne dersin? What about a cold drink? (Soğuk bir içeceğe ne dersin?)
A: The weather is very hot. B: What about goig to a pool?
A: This restaurant is very expensive. B: How about going somewhere else?
A: There is a big meeting tonight. B: Let’s go and listen to the speakers.
A: The baby seems tired. B: Let’s take to bed.
A: Tomorrow is mother’s day. B: Let’s buy a present for her.
