1. A taste of Bilbao
4 days, 3 nights
Day 1
• Arrival to the hotel in Bilbao, check in.
• 19:00 Cooking class of Basque tapas, world
know as “Pintxos” and pairing of wines
This course will allow you to learn the techniques
and the most suitable products for the preparation
of the Pintxos as well as the best way to treat these
products and the combination of them considering
the colour, smell, texture and in general to learn
with practical lessons.
Hands on cooking class.
There will be a total of 8 different pintxos elaborated. Each Pintxo will be paired with a different
wine.

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Avant-garde style cooking class given by Daniel and his staff.
We will enjoy a cooking class (show cooking) with tastings at a 1 Michelin Star Restaurant, run by
one of the favourite Chefs by the celebrities. Daniel’s creativity in the kitchen is complemented
by the exquisite attention, the elegant decoration and the style reflected in every single detail.
Here we will also find an excellent wine list and a typical Basque “txoko” (also known as
Gastronomic Society).
Cookery exhibition with tasting of the dishes that are prepared.
As an example: a dish is prepared, served in small portions and tasted by the participants; at the
same time, a brief discussion is held and the participants have the opportunity to give their
opinions and offer ideas about the dish of reference.
Duration: 1.5 hours aprox (standing up, not seated)
Preparation of 5-6 specific seasonal dishes with their tasting and a glass of wine.
There is the possibility to stay at the restaurant for a full meal.
