W3C’s Semantic Web intents a common framework that allows data to be shared and reused across application and enterprise. The semantic web and its related technologies are the main directions of future web development where machine-processable information which supports user tasks. Ontologies are playing the vital role in Semantic Web. Researches on Ontology engineering had pointed out that an effective ontology application development methodology with integrated tool support is mandatory for its success. . Potential benefits are there to ontology engineering in making the toolset of Model Driven Architecture applicable to ontology modeling. Since Software and Ontology engineering are two complimentary branches, the scope of extension of the well proven methodologies and UML based modeling approaches used in software engineering to ontology engineering can bridge the gap between the engineering branches. This research paper is an attempt to suggest an exclusive hybrid methodology for ontology development from existing matured software engineering. Philosophical and engineering aspects of the newly derived methodology have been described clearly An attempt has been made for the application of proposed methodology with protégé editor. The full-fledged implementation of an domain ontology and its validation is the future research direction.

Modeling languages are defined with a meta-model, which are specified using the meta-modeling tools that produce the editors for specifying models in accordance with the meta-models. While many different meta-modeling tools have been available today, it is not yet clear what the expectations of practitioners are from the meta-modeling tools and what sort of challenges that practitioners face with. So, we designed and conducted a survey, which was responded by 103 practitioners from 24 different countries. The survey participants represent the different profiles of the population who differ in terms of the work industries, the problem domains, job positions, and years of experiences. Our survey investigates three important research questions, which essentially focus on the usage frequencies of the existing meta-modeling tools, practitioners’ expectations from the meta-modeling tools, and any challenges that practitioners face with. The survey questionnaire considers the notation, semantics, editor services, model-transformation, validation, testing, and composability requirements for meta-modeling tools. The survey results lead to many interesting findings regarding the practical use of meta-modeling tools from different viewpoints. The survey also reveals many important challenges in each type of requirements. We strongly believe that the survey results are expected to be useful for anyone who consider developing their own DSMLs (domain-specific modeling languages) in understanding the top-used meta-modeling tools for different domains. Also, the tool vendors could use the survey results in learning the expectations of practitioners from the meta-modeling tools and any challenges encountered. What do Practitioners Expect from the Meta-modeling Tools? A Survey

Diagrams are an effective and popular tool for visual knowledge structuring. Managers also often use them to acquire and transfer business knowledge. There are many currently available diagrams or visual modeling languages for managerial needs, unfortunately the choice between them is frequently error-prone and inconsistent. This situation raises the next questions. What diagrams/ visual modeling languages are the most suitable for the specific type of business content? What domain-specific diagrams are the most suitable for the visualization of the particular elements of organizational ontology? In order to provide the answers, the paper suggests light-weight specification of diagrams and knowledge content types, which is based on the competency questions and ontology design patterns. Text can be analysed by splitting the text and extracting the keywords .These may be represented as summaries, tabular representation, graphical forms, and images. In order to provide a solution to large amount of information present in textual format led to a research of extracting the text and transforming the unstructured form to a structured format. The paper presents the importance of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and its two interesting applications in Python Language: 1. Automatic text summarization [Domain: Newspaper Articles] 2. Text to Graph Conversion [Domain: Stock news]. The main challenge in NLP is natural language understanding i.e. deriving meaning from human or natural language input which is done using regular expressions, artificial intelligence and database concepts.Automatic Summarization tool converts the newspaper articles into summary on the basis of frequency of words in the text. Text to Graph Converter takes in the input as stock article, tokenize them on various index (points and percent) and time and then tokens are mapped to graph. This paper proposes a business solution for users for effective time management.

Over the last few years Model-Driven Development (MDD) has been regarded as the future of Software Engineering, offering architects the possibility of creating artifacts to illustrate the design of the software solutions, contributing directly to the implementation of the product after performing a series of model transformations on them. The model-to-text transformations are the most important operations from the point of view of the automatic code generation. The automatic generation or the fast prototyping of applications implies an acceleration of the development process and a reduction of time and effort, which could materialize in a noticeable cost reduction. This paper proposes a practical approach for the model-based development of web applications, offering a solution for the layered and platform independent modeling of web applications, as well as for the automatic generation of software solutions realized using the ASP.NET technology.
