Deputy J6/G6/DOIM, Washington Army National
Guard
Major Muehleisen currently serves as both the full time and
traditional deputy J6 and G6/DOIM. In this role, he is the senior army advisor to the J6
and Director on Command, Control, Communication and Computers (C4). He is
Washington state’sState’s Designated Approving Authority for GuardnetXXI and in that
role, protects a robust data, voice and video network used by army, air and state
personnel for routine and emergent operations.
Major Muehleisen was commissioned in 1990 at Fort Benning, GA, upon completion of
federal OCS. Prior to receiving his commission, he was a platoon sergeant in C
Company, 1st Battalion, 161st Infantry in Pullman, Washington .Washington.
