Not some dead hope, not some ‘get you by’ hope, but hope that's under-written by God who will finish what he began in you…

2. ‘ He that has begun a good work in you will finish it!!

3. ‘ Being confident of this very thing, that he which has began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ' Philippians 1:6

4. If you're in pain, when sorrow becomes unbearable remember & be confident, God has begun a good work in you…

5. In loneliness, sickness, disease or heart breaking moments; be confident God has begun a good work in you…

6. In days of suffering, fear, grief and loss, be confident God has begun a good work in you…

7. When you have no one to care, no one to lift you when you fall, no one to laugh or cry with, be assured God has begun a good work in you…

8. You may find yourself in the pit, tormented, broke, no job, no prospect of change, no family and unloved but be confident, God has begun a good work in you…

9. When you have no more strength, be assured, God has begun a good work in you… you are a work in progress

10. When your children have gone astray, when your world is falling down round you, be assured, God has begun a good work in you…

11. If you've lost someone or something you held dear, be confident God has begun a good work in you…

12. If you have lost your job and there is no food on the table; be assured God has begun a good work in you…

13. When you have just a handful of seed to sow, it is enough, so be confident God has begun a good work in you…

14. GOD WILL PERFORM IT, HE ‘ WILL FINISH IT’

15. Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despised the shame, and is sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

16. Christ looked beyond the pain, the rejection by his own, the whipping post, the thorns, the nails and the cross..

17. He looked beyond death, beyond the tomb for he was looking for the joy of obtaining the prize, the glory, the honour and the power at the right hand of his Father.

18. That's how you overcome your worst nightmare… look beyond it and see something bigger than your pain… God is working on you and he will finish what he started…

19. James wrote in 1:2 Count it all joy brethren when you fall into different temptations, (adverse evil things)

20. Trials and temptations are normal but so also is Gods plan to finish what he started in you.

21. ‘ Rejoice in as much as you are a partaker of his sufferings that when his glory shall be revealed you may be glad also with exceeding joy’1 Peter 4:13

22. Again Paul writing in Philippians 2:17 said; Yes, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all’

23. ‘ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead’… 1Peter 1:3

25. ‘ To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you’

27. Not kept by you; kept by God for he that has begun a good work in you will finish it… You are a work in progress

28. ‘ Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, you are in heaviness through manifold temptations’ 1Peter 1:6

29. God destroys temptations by carrying the burden as he finishes his work of grace in us… You are a work in progress

30. ‘ That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ’1Peter 1:7

31. God turns every trial into victory as he finishes working on his greatest masterpiece… You and I. We are a work in progress

32. ‘ Whom having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you see him not, yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 1Peter 1:8

33. Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. 1Peter 1:9

34. ‘ GOD WILL PERFORM IT, HE ‘ WILL’FINISH IT!’

35. Remember if you have lost something or someone you love, God is preparing you for something greater than your loss

36. Not just for a day; not some fleeting moment but unto the day Jesus Christ Returns for his children. We are a work in progress
