4. 28 It is he whom we
proclaim, warning everyone and
teaching everyone in all
wisdom, so that we may present
everyone mature in Christ.
29 For this I toil and struggle with
all the energy that he powerfully
inspires within me.
- Colossians 1:28-29

15. Reflection vs. Instruction
There is a difference between
“teaching a class” and “leading a
group.”
We focus on leading the group.
Education = to draw out…
16. What?
• What did you hear? What stood out to you? What
didn’t you understand?
So What?
• Why is this important? What do you think it means?
What other questions does it raise for you?
Now What?
• So what does this mean for how you think?
• So what does this mean for how you act?
• What do you think we should do about it?
19. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one, because they have a
good reward for their toil. For if they
fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him
who is alone when he falls and has not
another to lift him up! Again, if two lie
together, they keep warm, but how can one
keep warm alone? And though a man might
prevail against one who is alone, two will
withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly
broken.
