2.  1) Place egg’s in vinegar
to remove the shell
 2) Measure the weight of
the egg using a balance
 3) Measure the size of
the egg using a
measuring tape
 4) Place one egg in corn
syrup, and then place the
other egg in water
 5) Weigh and measure
the egg’s again

3.  I think that the corn
syrup egg (bob) will
be heaver & I think
Bob will stay the
same size, I also
think that Bob will
become a brownish
colour.

will be heavier and
will be bigger & will
become slightly
transparent & pale

7.  Water egg- the water egg got larger
because the water moved into the
egg.
 This was because the egg had less
water than the outside.
 The water moved from higher
concentration to lower
concentration (see graph for more
info).
 The corn syrup egg- the corn syrup
egg got smaller because water
moved out of the egg.
 This happened because there was
more water in the egg then the corn
syrup.
 My hypothesis was wrong about the
corn syrup egg’s; size, weight, and
how it would look.
 My hypothesis was wrong about the
water eggs weight
 Mt hypothesis was right about the
water eggs size & its looks.
