 With the four of us in the group, we put up exhibition posters in the school atrium for a week
and also flyers around the school classrooms to educate fellow students about the health,
ecological and ethical reasons to stop eating shark fins.
 We also spoke with members of the public at Bishan MRT station, and handed out flyers with
information about our cause.
 We started a facebook group for those who would declare their support for our cause to end
the suffering of the sharks and garnered more than 150 ‘likes’ of the page within two weeks.
 Finally, we also sent out petition letters to 6 different hotels in Singapore that are currently
selling shark fin soup to ask that they drop shark fin soup from their menu. So far, one hotel
restaurant replied acknowledging our concerns and stating that they are working towards
getting their shark fin supplies from ethical suppliers only.
