Baptists are a Protestant Christian denomination whose members are baptized as a profession of faith. Though Baptist beliefs can vary slightly between churches, they universally share core beliefs including the Holy Trinity, the virgin birth and resurrection of Jesus, salvation through grace alone, and that Jesus will return.
